Dear Member(s)

The Annual General Meeting of the Society will take place as indicated above, a copy of the agenda is enclosed and your attendance and support would be much appreciated. If you require transport on the night please ask and we will try to arrange it for you.

A President, Vice-President, Junior Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and an examiner will require to be elected. The President Mr Ian Kirk has come to the end of his three years tenue as our President. Ian is happy to stand for re-election. At present the Society has no Vice-President, Junior Vice-President and, therefore the Society seeks to waive Rule 7 of the Constitution. Mrs. Maureen Mathie has served as Secretary for one year and is willing to stand for re-election. Mr Bob Buchanan and Mrs. Katherine Binning have stood down from the committee. Mrs. Julia Tubby is happy to continue to serve as committee members and there is no requirement to re-elect her. There will, however, be up to seven vacancies, in addition to the office bearer vacancies on the committee.

You are invited to make nominations for any of the office bearers, one examiner and up to six committee members but please ensure that anyone you nominate is willing to stand. The tear off slip below should be returned by Wednesday, 26 April 2017 to the Secretary Mrs. Maureen Mathie, West Barn, 5 Parkside, Milton Ernest, Bedford, MK44 1RG.
